Fuji Wifi App App
This is an alternative reverse-engineered app to Fujifilm's official WiFi app. This is an Android-only app with a very simple goal to serve as a photo viewer and downloader. It will also serve as a testbed for a portable implementation Fujifilm's superset of PTP/IP, and possibly a more advanced and cross-platform app in the future.
Fujifilm has a notoriously bad app for their cameras. I won’t say this app is „better“, but:
- It’s WAY more responsive (when you press a button, it actually does something)
- It’s around 3mb instead of 140mb (?)
- Actually works, and doesn’t randomly break (??)
- Doesn’t need 24/7 location permission (?????)
What's new in 0.2.3 (beta)
- Updated to target Android SDK 35.
- Improved memory management with 16kb page alignment during compilation.
- Addressed layout issues caused by edge-to-edge enforcement, with ongoing improvements.
- Replaced libxml2 dependency with ezxml fork.
- All new cameras are forced to use GetObjectInfo patch
