NetToggle App
NetToggle is a lightweight Quick Settings tile for Android that switches cellular network modes in one tap. It uses Root or Shizuku to run privileged telephony commands that regular apps can't access, and supports Android 7 and newer.
Network modes
- Preferred 5G: 5G with 4G/3G/2G fallback, recommended for everyday use
- 5G Only: for 5G SA networks only; calls and service may drop elsewhere
- Preferred 4G: turns off 5G to save battery, reduce heat, or stabilize weak 5G areas
- 4G Only: locks to LTE; calls require VoLTE
- Preferred 3G and 2G Only: for legacy networks where still available

- Custom tile cycle: rotate through 2 or 3 modes of your choice, with a live badge showing the active mode and SIM
- Auto Restore: brings back your preferred mode if Android, thermal management, or the carrier changes it
- Dual-SIM control: target SIM 1, SIM 2, both, or let the app detect the active data SIM automatically
- Shortcuts and widgets: up to 4 custom shortcuts, home screen widgets, and support for Samsung Modes & Routines and Google Assistant
- Automation: control it from Tasker, MacroDroid, Automate, or ADB through token-protected broadcasts (off by default), with a built-in command builder
- Smart filtering: hides modes your hardware or carrier doesn't support, including shut-down 2G/3G networks
- Battery friendly: no persistent background service or constant polling
Requirements
- Root (Magisk, KernelSU, APatch) or Shizuku (recommended)
- Read Phone State permission for fast SIM detection (fallbacks are used without it)
