WizeStream 應用程式
WizeStream is an independent Android streaming app based on NewPipe, focused on Material 3 design, dynamic and manual theme colors, enhanced playback controls, and careful visual polish.
WizeStream keeps the lightweight, privacy-friendly approach inherited from NewPipe. It does not require a platform account, does not depend on Google framework libraries, and is designed to work without Google Play Services.

WizeStream includes Material-focused enhancements and additional playback features:
- Material 3-inspired surfaces, dialogs, settings, tabs, and navigation
- Dynamic Material You colors and manual theme color presets
- Bottom navigation with a configurable default main tab
- SponsorBlock integration for skipping configured sponsor and other marked segments
- YouTube dislike count support
- Enhanced player gestures: swipe to seek, fullscreen swipe controls, and hold to temporarily speed up playback
- Swipe down on the video player to return to the miniplayer
- Optional keep-video-visible mode while scrolling the video details page
- A separate application ID, allowing side-by-side installation with official NewPipe
WizeStream is independently maintained and uses its own release signing key. Releases are available through GitHub and IzzyOnDroid.
Storage permissions:
On Android 6-9, WizeStream can optionally use a legacy storage backend instead of Android's Storage Access Framework. This mode is also used on some Fire TV devices because of a platform-specific SAF issue. In legacy mode, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE and WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE allow the app to read existing files and save downloaded video, audio, captions, and exported backups. On Android 10 and newer, SAF is always used, and these storage permissions are not requested.
